We are more than just a preschool, we are partners.
A Faith-Based Early Learning Program
The Academy at Griffin Harbor has been a part of our community since 1972. Many of our parishioners grew up in our preschool, and their kids did, too. We have families with three generations of AGH graduates as part of our program. We start our students as early as 12 months old and will keep them enrolled until they are ready for Kindergarten. We are not a daycare, and pride ourselves on the academic commitment of our program. We prepare children to enter school and become life-long learners as we work as a team with parents and caregivers.
The Academy at Griffin Harbor is a ministry of CBC and supported and strengthened by its relationship with the church. As you consider schooling options, you can be confident that AGH is a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for your child to thrive. Our program is designed to provide a hands-on learning environment to meet the needs of the whole child, with an emphasis on building a Christ-centered self-image.
Our Curriculum
Our objective is to provide a planned program of learning experiences and opportunities whereby each child may develop at their own rate in an atmosphere of Christian love and understanding.
Our students attend Chapel each week where they learn to experience and respect God’s house. We sing, tell Bible stories and dance to celebrate God together. Students bring these lessons back into the classroom and use them throughout the rest of the week.
